Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT IS INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE?

Integrative medicine is a type of healthcare that looks at the whole person—not just the illness. It combines regular medical treatments with evidence-based natural and supportive practices like healthy eating, breathing techniques, meditation, herbal treatment and supplements, movement, and spirituality. The goal is to care for the mind, body, and spirit together, not just treat symptoms.

PATIENT LOVE

  • "She’s present in a way that fills your heart, no matter how dark or lost you may feel when you arrive. And the natural high lingers with you the rest of the day. She’s sincere in her process, her remedy, her journey with you. It’s reciprocal. Both our energies intertwine to just be free and be loved. Her array of sounds fills the room with joy, silliness, fun, relaxation, laughter, and most importantly, love."

Dr. April welcomed me with open arms, is very encouraging and her office is literally full of butterflies. I knew instantly I was in the right place...”

  • "If you are tired of health insurance dictating your needs, tired of the lack of time, concern and care of your well-being, then Dr. April Soto is a physician you should definitely consider. I knew with my initial conversation she would add the sunshine to a dismal, frustrated health consumer. Happy to report we have made a successful turn with my health. It's only been six months, but we are working together to continue the success and obtain the desired outcome."

  • "As a queer man, the struggle is REAL to find a health care provider who is culturally competent and empathetic to LGBTQ+ health issues. But Dr. Soto is all this and MORE. She truly centers her patients' truths and experiences in her practice. She is full of joy and love and radiates this every time I see her. I walk away from our sessions not only feeling cared for and safe, but also feeling seen and empowered. The health care industry needs more practitioners like Dr. Soto, and I am incredibly thankful and lucky to be under her care."
