Frequently Asked Questions
-
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a healthcare model where patients pay a flat, affordable monthly fee to access comprehensive primary care services. It is important to note that DPC is not an insurance plan; rather, it’s a way to enhance the doctor-patient relationship and improve access to care. With DPC, you have easier access to your doctor, including sooner appointments, longer visit times, and personalized care tailored to your needs. Think of it like car insurance—just as you don’t use car insurance for routine oil changes or tire rotations, DPC helps you maintain your health and address smaller concerns before they become bigger, more expensive issues. It’s about helping you heal and also preventative care while forming a strong, ongoing relationship with your doctor to keep you healthy in the long run.

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) injections use components of your own blood that are rich in growth factors to support healing and tissue regeneration. After a blood draw, the plasma is separated and carefully injected into targeted areas. PRP is commonly used to support joint health, soft tissue healing, hair restoration, and certain aesthetic treatments. Because it uses your body’s own cells, it is considered a regenerative and holistic approach to care.
-
No, you do not need to be a member to receive PRP injections. While membership offers comprehensive, ongoing primary care and additional benefits, PRP treatments may be available to non-members on an individual basis. An initial consultation is required to determine if PRP is appropriate for your specific needs and goals. This ensures care remains thoughtful, safe, and personalized.

At this time, I do not manage or prescribe opiate pain medications in my practice. My focus is on providing care that supports safety, healing, and long-term well-being.
I do, however, offer compassionate support for individuals seeking help with opioid use disorder, including medically guided treatment for those who wish to transition away from opiates in a thoughtful and supported way.
If you have questions about your specific situation, I welcome you to reach out so we can explore appropriate next steps together.

While we do not take insurance, we can use your insurance (in most cases) for medications, laboratories, and imaging. For certain a la carte services, we can provide a superbill upon request.* You may submit this to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
WHAT IS INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE?
Integrative medicine is a type of healthcare that looks at the whole person—not just the illness. It combines regular medical treatments with evidence-based natural and supportive practices like healthy eating, breathing techniques, meditation, herbal treatment and supplements, movement, and spirituality. The goal is to care for the mind, body, and spirit together, not just treat symptoms.
