What is Integrative Medicine?

Integrative Medicine looks at the whole person—not just illness and symptoms—and builds personalized treatment plans through a collaborative approach between healthcare professionals and patients.

In practice, it may incorporate techniques such as nutrition, breathwork, movement, herbal supplements, spirituality, psychedelic medicine, and meditation alongside conventional treatments.

The goal is to enhance the body’s natural healing abilities, and support the individual’s overall health and wellness.

  • "If you are tired of health insurance dictating your needs, tired of the lack of time, concern and care of your well-being, then Dr. April Soto is a physician you should definitely consider. I knew with my initial conversation she would add the sunshine to a dismal, frustrated health consumer. Happy to report we have made a successful turn with my health. It's only been six months, but we are working together to continue the success and obtain the desired outcome."

  • "I cannot recommend Dr. Soto highly enough. After seeing several providers over the years, I had almost given up on finding a physician who I felt could hear my concerns and meet where I am at. Working with Dr. Soto was a completely different experience. From the very first visit, she created a space where I felt genuinely seen, heard, and respected, as she took the time to understand not only my symptoms, but me as a whole person. With Dr. Soto, I have finally found the level of expertise, thoughtfulness, and partnership that I had been searching for. I am so thrilled to have found a provider with whom I feel deep alignment and that I completely trust. Deep gratitude to you, Dr. Soto!"

  • "As a queer man, the struggle is REAL to find a health care provider who is culturally competent and empathetic to LGBTQ+ health issues. But Dr. Soto is all this and MORE. She truly centers her patients' truths and experiences in her practice. She is full of joy and love and radiates this every time I see her. I walk away from our sessions not only feeling cared for and safe, but also feeling seen and empowered. The health care industry needs more practitioners like Dr. Soto, and I am incredibly thankful and lucky to be under her care."
